    A big part of CSAE’s mandate involves organizing events and disseminating resources. Now, we are looking to fill a role with someone who will elevate member engagement and service delivery.

    About the Position

    As CSAE’s Membership Coordinator you will be, in many cases, the first voice or face that our members interact with. As a strong people person, you can help our members find solutions to the issues they face. In addition, you are a natural organizer and can juggle many priorities while being extremely organized.

    Here are some of the things you will be working on:

    • Member outreach and engagement through telephone calls, emails and other channels
    • Find new creative ways to further engage our existing and prospective members
    • Process prospect profiles and engage with them to become members
    • Process new membership applications and ensure all information is accurate and first touchpoint is positive
    • Coordinate dues billing, prepare regular renewal notices/e-mails, distribute them on a timely basis and follow up regarding collections
    • Monitor, maintain accurate records and keep up to date membership collateral 
    • Respond to and triage e-mails/calls from members and prospective members through email and telephone and other channels
    • Review and update communications material for membership recruitment and retention as needed.
    • Keep membership webpages up to date.

    Qualifications

    • Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in business, marketing, administration or similar
    • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a customer-focused role
    • Data entry experience along with familiarity with membership and customer databases an asset
    • Strong computer skills, and proficiency with relevant software (Excel, Word, Outlook, calendar software etc.)
    • Organized and meticulous attention to detail
    • Works well under pressure and able to meet deadlines
    • Willing to take responsibility and act independently when necessary
    • Team player mindset and willingness to collaborate while working independently and in a remote or virtual environment
    • Experience with a professional association that works with a broad membership would be an asset
    • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
    • Certified Association Executive designation is an asset

    This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Director of Membership and Business Development. We offer a starting salary between $49,000 – $55,000 per year, depending on your experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, RRSP and paid vacation.

    About the Position

    As CSAE’sNetwork Relations Coordinator, your goal is to provide planning and administrative support to the eight CSAE regional networks across Canada. This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Network Relations Manager. A good portion of your time will be spent organizing and implementing events and activities to support CSAE members. Your exceptional experience in event planning, marketing and public relations, with polished organizational skills, will make a big impact on the future of CSAE.

    Here are some of the things you will be working on:

    • Provide organizational support to the network councils – specifically meeting schedules, agenda building, minute taking, support to the chair
    • Implement events and projects including securing subject matter experts, logistics (negotiations and contracts regarding venue, A/V, setup), registration, marketing and promotion, and onsite representation when appropriate
    • Assist with fulfillment of event sponsor activation
    • Create network-specific communications and marketing pieces, including e-blasts, network sections of e-newsletters, social media posts in collaboration with marketing & communications
    • Post updates to relevant sections of the CSAE website

    Qualifications:

    • Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in event planning, marketing or public relations, administration or similar
    • Bilingualism (French/English) a must
    • Certified Association Executive designation preferred
    • Experience managing volunteers
    • Experience in event planning
    • Experience in marketing/promotion would be an asset
    • Strong computer skills, and proficiency with relevant software (Excel, Word, Outlook, calendar software etc.)
    • Organized and meticulous with relentless attention to detail

    That is where you come in.

    As CSAE’s Network Relations Manager, your goal is to support the growth and success of our regional networks. A good portion of your time will be spent planning and delivering programs and services in local geographical areas across Canada.

    Using your exceptional experience in relationship management, you will make great connections with our membership—both new and old—and keep them up to date with everything we have to offer.

    In terms of relationships management, this role coordinates, administers and markets CSAE’s programs and services for our eight regional networks (Alberta, Atlantic, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ottawa-Gatineau, Trillium (GTA/Golden Horseshoe), Quebec and Saskatchewan. You’ll be scheduling and supporting council meetings, taking minutes, following up and so much more.

    There is a lot of work that goes into planning our regional events, and you will be a key resource for everyone involved: volunteers, members, vendors, venues and management. Sometimes you’ll be on the phone setting dates and negotiating contracts. Other times you’ll be working out budgets and drafting materials. No matter what you are working on, you will need strong organizational and communication skills.

    When you’re not engaged in the day to day, you’ll be improving processes and finding ways to make your work, and our delivery, easier. This is where you’ll have plenty of autonomy, and the ability to make a big impact on the future of our organization.

    Here are some of the things you will be working on:

    • Establish and manage relationships with volunteers and members within the network matrix
    • Explore, recommend and implement ongoing improvements to support efficient and effective network activity that advances the strategic plan and supports CSAE’s mission
    • Manage and provide organizational support to the network councils – specifically meeting schedules, agenda building, minute taking, support to the chair
    • Plan and implement events and projects including securing subject matter experts, logistics (negotiations and contracts regarding venue, A/V, setup), registration, marketing and promotion, and onsite representation when appropriate
    • Create and manage individual event budgets within the context of the approved annual budget
    • Assist with fulfillment of event sponsor activation
    • Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing and promotional pieces that support the network events including e-blasts, website descriptors and social media posts in collaboration with Marketing & Communications
    • In conjunction with the events team, develop and maintain an annual events calendar that includes signature events, leadership/governance events, network events
    • Create network-specific communications and marketing pieces including e-blasts, network sections of e-newsletters and social media posts in collaboration with Marketing & Communications
    • Participate in the annual planning cycle as part of CSAE’s planning framework

    Working with CSAE

    This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Vice President, Learning & Innovation. CSAE operates as a fully-virtual organization with access to co-working locations in the GTHA. Regular team meetings are held in Toronto. We offer a starting salary between $65,000 – $70,000 per year, depending on your experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, RRSP and paid vacation.
