CSAE members can earn the CAE designation through one of three paths: online courses through the original CAE program, through the restructured program, or through Prior Learning Assessment Recognition (PLAR). You may also combine PLAR with individual course completion to accelerate your progress through either program.
Please note that the original and restructured programs cover the same important material, but they are organized so differently that it is not possible to switch between programs. Students must complete their designation in same program where they began. Prior Learning Assessment Recognition can be applied to courses in either program.
