Call for Advisory Group Volunteers

Applications are being currently accepted for volunteers on CSAE’s new advisory groups: 

• Membership Advisory Group 
• Professional Development (PD) Advisory Group 

CSAE embraces diversity and inclusion and is committed to building an organization that represents a variety of identities, backgrounds, perspectives and abilities. We strongly encourage people from equity-deserving groups to apply.  

The Process

CSAE is endeavoring to improve its processes to remove barriers to applicants and increase inclusion and accessibility. With this in view, the following changes are being piloted as part of the application process this year: 

• There are multiple format options available for applying. Applicants can provide submissions in writing, or via audio or video recording. Those who prefer to have support completing the application may reach out to CSAE for direct assistance. (Links are provided below to the written submission process. If you wish to receive direct support completing the written application or prefer to submit an audio or video recording instead of completing the written form, please contact info@csae.com). 
• In reviewing applications, the value of an applicant’s lived experience is considered. 

These changes are a work in progress. They will be evaluated and future adjustments may be made with an eye to continuous improvement. 

The Positions

We are currently seeking applicants for the following groups: 

Membership Advisory Group: The principal responsibility of the membership advisory group is to support the growth of a vibrant, diverse membership at CSAE. It will focus on exploring and recommending inclusive and innovative member recruitment and retention practices, to enhance the member experience and promote association growth. 
  
Professional Development (PD) Advisory Group: The principal responsibility of the professional development (PD) advisory group is to advance association excellence through the development and delivery of programs and services that enhance opportunities for innovative learning, thought leadership and networking. The PD advisory group members must be CAEs or in the process of acquiring the CAE designation.
