The Governance Forum returns! Join us on November 10th

    10:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST
Many organizations struggle defining the role of the Board in strategic planning and in innovation processes. Often it is delegated to senior management to conduct strategic planning and the Board becomes an approval body rather than a generator of innovative ideas.

Participate in the Governance Forum to explore how Board members should think about their role in building strategy and how to collaborate with senior management in this process.

    MEMBERSHIP SPOTLIGHT

    Jennifer Traer, CAE
    CSAE member since 2011

I’m an all-or-nothing type of person. I took my CAE courses straight through to completion. While it was time consuming, it was at the start of my career so it was very timely in educating myself in the not-for-profit sector. It’s been important milestone in my association career. It’s challenged and deepen my knowledge of the association sector as well as connecting me with industry experts. In five years, I see myself continuing to challenge myself professionally and willing to try new things. Mindless work isn’t for me. I want to continue to push boundaries and streamline processes.
