    MEMBERSHIP SPOTLIGHT

Dean Black, RCAF Association & Association for Strategic Planning

I currently serve as executive director of the member-funded common-interest RCAF Association, and I am also certification director of the not-for-profit Association for Strategic Planning (ASP), a global organization with roots in the U.S. I joined CSAE in 2007 to connect with professionals who could help me understand the nonprofit sector and the role I was hired to fill. I continue to benefit from those connections. Adding the CVRM, SMP and two Master’s degrees (MA Leading Innovation & Change and MSc in Strategic Planning) to my CAE has provided a broader understanding of people, organizations, processes, practices and professionalism. These are some of the essential elements of success in serving and helping similarly committed people.
