National Volunteer Week is Here!

Happy Monday, CSAE.

This is a special week for the not-for-profit sector–National Volunteer Week (NVW or NVW2018)–across Canada. This is a time to pause and acknowledge the incredible role volunteers play in our organizations throughout the year.

The Value of Our Volunteers

Your organization, like CSAE, likely relies on the generosity, knowledge, experience, and goodwill of volunteers. They drive our committees, serve on our boards, advocate on our behalf, prepare and facilitate events, and otherwise give of themselves and their time to support our mission and our success.

CSAE Thanks You

Without our amazing volunteers, there would be no CSAE as we know it today. CSAE couldn’t pursue its mission without its talented and committed volunteers. Our volunteer board is comprised of leading professionals, all giving of their time and experience to shape and guide the organization’s direction CSAE also relies on the time and talents of volunteers to carry out vital work as part of our Network Councils.

Individuals give of their time and talents. Their dedication to task teams and committees also ensure we offer the best possible programming and services to our members and the association sector at large. For what our many volunteers do, a week of recognition doesn’t seem enough.
