Learner’s Digest: September 2021
I hope you’re getting excited about CSAE’s second annual virtual conference – COMMUNITY. This year’s event will give you more of what you told us you like, and less of what didn’t resonate as much. As you’ve come to expect, the concurrent sessions will explore a wide variety of topics on association management. You’ll enjoy thought-provoking keynote sessions and plenty of opportunities to connect with peers and sponsors.
Networking will focus on collaborative discussions rather than social initiatives. We know it’s challenging to carve out time for virtual conferences, so we’ve tightened up the schedule and focused the time on learning and networking. While we’ll miss sharing casual glasses of wine and conversation, we’re eager to share ideas and strategies that have worked for others over the past 18 months so we can all move forward with more confidence.
What’s new?
- Group passes: Enroll up to five team members for one low price. Divide and conquer so you can attend the most beneficial program sessions for you.
- Cohorts: Ever wish you could just connect with other CEOs running associations with voluntary membership? Have you wanted to just chat with others who work for regulatory bodies? This year, you’ll be able to identify one or more cohorts to ensure you’re networking with those sharing your challenges. Watch for a note in October to help identify the best cohort for you.
- Platform: You asked and we delivered. While we love Pheedloop, many of our virtual event participants asked us to explore alternate platforms. So, we did! This year, the conference will be held on Howspace – a digital collaboration platform that makes it easier to engage with fellow participants, speakers and sponsors. With lots of opportunities to engage with each other, this platform will help support the theme of COMMUNITY.
Plan to join your community this fall at CSAE’s annual virtual conference, Nov. 9-11! Find information and register here.
