Learner’s Digest: November 2021
November has been a celebratory month for the CSAE community! Kicking off Member November with our second virtual conference, there have been some delightful opportunities to connect and celebrate some great things happening across the country.
During conference, we celebrated the 2021 CAE® Class of 2021 (see below), which always fills us with immense pride. We also cheered for the Awards of Distinction Winners (also below). This year’s 14 award recipients shared their processes for launching new initiatives and responding to member needs during a very challenging time. We were thrilled to recognize these award-winning programs and are even more excited to share their success stories with you. The winning case studies are provided in short, 10-minute video segments so you can benefit from their hard-won knowledge. You’ll find the full details below.
CSAE members, please take some time before the end of this month to watch and vote for your favourite case study. Next month, we’ll tally your votes and announce the Member’s Choice. So, grab a coffee, turn off your email and explore what your peers have been cooking up. You might find the gem of an idea you’ve been looking for!

Are Virtual Events and Online Continuing Education Here to Stay? Have Your Say!
Prior to the pandemic, many associations held in-person continuing education events and conferences to add value for their members and to generate revenue. During the pandemic, associations have relied exclusively on technology to connect with members. With the increasing costs of hosting in-person events and an attendee hard cap due to public gathering guidelines, will associations opt to host online events post Covid-19? Participate in our short three-minute survey by Dec. 10 for a chance to win a $150 Amazon gift card (just in time for the holidays). The results will be shared with survey participants and our fellow CSAE members.
