MEMBERSHIP SPOTLIGHT
I am the director of operations with the Ontario Library Association (OLA), a non-profit charity which helps library staff and supporters to share experience and expertise while creating innovative solutions in a constantly changing environment. I joined CSAE during my first year with OLA to engage and expand my network of peers. I later served on the membership sub-committee, where I contributed to the development of the CSAE volunteer toolkit.
Associations Connect is a fantastic tool, which I utilize weekly. Being able to collaborate and network with my association peers and industry leaders has been rewarding, and eye-opening, especially these last few years with the impacts on organizations imposed by the pandemic.
I completed my CAE designation in 2019. The CAE® program was one of the most rewarding professional education experiences I have ever been involved with while still working a full-time job. I would highly recommend this program to anyone interested in learning.
