Check Out the Upgraded Associations Connect
Associations Connect just got a facelift!
This popular forum for CSAE members to ask questions, discuss challenges and solutions, and share resources, has transitioned to an upgraded platform. Members now have access to a more user-friendly, “social media style” interface, with new and improved ways to interact and engage with peers.
What does this mean for you?
Here are all of the important things to know:
Login and Profile
Your old profile has been ported over to the new platform automatically. Your login information will remain the same as before. Upon login, you will directly land on your profile page. Login to your profile here.
CSAE group membership owners: Make sure the designated staff from your organization are assigned their membership in the system. This will enable them to seamlessly access the new Associations Connect. Check the status of your membership assignees by clicking here.
Member Home Page
Your home/profile page looks different on the new platform. It resembles a group page of a social media site, similar to a Facebook group. You’ll have a “feed” that displays all the latest discussions. You can click on, like and follow posts directly from your feed.
You can also find useful links, news and updates, upcoming events, top contributors and other helpful information on your home page.
Communities
A community is a place to connect virtually, network and ask questions.
Members are welcome to join the new communities created for special-interest groups such as young professionals, small associations and CEOs. There is also a dedicated community for Francophone members.
Resource Library
The resource library is a dedicated place to share and access tools and templates, and is immensely valuable to the CSAE community. Easily explore and search for resources by CAE competency, type and topic to find exactly what you’re looking for. Keep your contributions coming as we work to expand our library of resources.
Collaboration
CSAE volunteers regularly use Associations Connect for collaboration and document management. The experience remains the same on the new platform. We will also be creating a new community for current volunteers to stay connected.
Adaptability
The new platform will not have a French microsite. Instead, there is a dedicated community for Francophone members.
The new platform is also mobile-friendly, enabling you to connect on the go. Questions? Contact Casey Pope by email at casey@csae.com.
