CSAE Breakfast Club: Leading Through Uncertainty
Join this morning session that will give you an opportunity to talk with your peers about the situation in the US, and how it’s affecting you.
In less than a year, the second Trump administration has changed the United States enormously, and the impacts on Canada and Canadians have already been significant. Overall economic uncertainty, shifts in geopolitical alliances, tariffs impacting costs and markets, changes to the American legal environment and protections for human rights, termination of research funding, plunging cross-border travel – all of these and more are impacting Canadian associations and their members. On top of that, the sheer pace of news and conflicting messages create whiplash and confusion.
This discussion, facilitated by Meredith Low, will give you a chance to talk through what any or all of this means for your members, your associations, and you as a leader. In a confidential, supportive, setting, you will be able to share concerns, questions, and ideas with each other, and find ways to think ahead despite the maelstrom.
Whatever the issues that are keeping you up at night or overwhelming your inbox, this session will enable you to talk them through and find out how others are grappling with these same challenges.
