Tracy Folkes Hanson, CAE, is the President & CEO of CSAE. A champion for the “human element” of leadership, Tracy has dedicated her career to building communities where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered to drive collective change.

With an extensive background spanning corporate marketing, public service as a former Town Councillor, and executive non-profit leadership, Tracy brings a multi-dimensional perspective to the association sector. She is a passionate advocate for professional professionalization through the Certified Association Executive (CAE®) program and is frequently found traveling across Canada to connect with members and hear their stories firsthand.
